Wolf Creek Student Art Exhibition




Wolf Creek Student Art Exhibition
On February 2nd Wolf Creek High School, Chisago City, held an artist reception for the students who participated in this year’s Student Art Exhibition.  Students and parents enjoyed refreshments and a large display of talented images.  Students were able to enter three images into the painting, drawing, and photography categories.  Each category was then judged by a faculty member and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places and prizes were awarded.  The exhibition ran through February 16th and Senior Raya Hunt won with the most votes for Best of Show for her drawing “Delusional.”
The winners in each category were: Painting, 1st place Rachael Bell - Untitled, 2nd Place Raya Hunt - Pink Marilyn, 3rd place Tyler Marsh - Cabin. Drawing, 1st place Rachael Bell - Untitled, 2nd Place Angelica Trevino - Life’s Simple Treasures, 3rd place Hannah Schulte - Stain Concert. Photography, 1st place Katlyn Kirkup - Shelby, 2nd Place Taylor Clancy - Sparkle of a Smile, 3rd Place Taylor Clancy - Pathway to Life.
All students recieved participation awards for entering this year’s Student Art Exhibition.  Rachael Bell, Brian Carnes, Taylor Clancy, Michael Heinen, Raya Hunt, Michael Johnson, Katlyn Kirkup, Mel Krueger, Tyler Marsh, Nicole Niedermeyer, Hannah Schulte, and Angelica Trevino
